Welcome to the New Birth
Our Women's Fellowship is a unique ministry designed to create sisterhood and unity among the ladies in our congregation ages 18 and up. Through a variety of regularly scheduled activities, the Holy Spirit is able to break down the barriers that are often present between the women of the Church. Unlike the atmosphere of a "Christian Social Club", we seek to help those that are hurting and those who may just need Christian companionship. The activities range from prayer meetings to a night at the symphony. The Women's Fellowship not only encourages member participation, but we also extend an invitation to every woman of every race seeking sisterhood in the fellowship of Christ Jesus.

When life gets way too heavy
And the weight is bearing down,
When the smile you've given often
Has suddenly turned a frown.
That's when a sister's needed
To lend an open ear
To listen over coffee
And keep the tissues near.
Now when bright success is in the picture
And your talent is there to use,
When you have so may options
That priorities you have to choose.
That's when a Christian sister's needed
To share in your celebration,
Heaping on your shoulders
A shower of admiration.
Now regardless of the circumstances
And the need of Jesus' ear you feel,
It's a stronger prayer you offer
When with a friend you kneel.
Surely, it's the hand of that dear sister
Who will help to lead the way
To the Savior's loving harbor
And show you how to pray.
The responsibilities of home and family
An uncertain future of hopes and fears,
The always constant happenings
The laughter and the tears.
As sisters, we share these things unhampered
Our defenses are all unwalled,
She helpes me grow and I help her
Until to Heaven's door we're called.
So, if you need somebody special
To share your sorrow and your cheer,
Then look all around you, Christian
